Hoth Chocolate
Not only is “Hoth” extremely close to “hot,” but given the temperature on the planet Hoth you’d probably drink a lot of hot chocolate while you’re there!
As with most hot chocolate recipes, this is pretty quick and easy to make.
First, combine everything in a pot (except the marshmallows!) and mix together until the sugar dissolves.
Second, place the pot over the stove until “tiny bubbles” appear. Be ready, because once these bubbles appear the whole mixture will start boiling very soon after!
Third (and last), pour into a mug, top with marshmallows (optional addition), and enjoy!
Taste: 9/10
Of course this was very good! It’s chocolate and milk! That being said, it wasn’t my favorite hot chocolate. I would have preferred a stronger chocolate flavor.
Difficulty: Easy
Just make sure you keep a close eye on the milk while it’s over the stove.
I also stirred the milk pretty regularly, even though the recipe didn’t call for it, because I’m paranoid about burning milk. Once you do that once, you NEVER want to do it again!
Cost: Cheap
You probably have most of these items already: milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla. Marshmallows are an optional addition to this one.
