Wampa Snow Cones

wampa2Be warned: this recipe requires arm strength!  But aside from that, it’s not too complicated.

First, mash up your blueberries, and then strain out the liquid.

Next, add water and sugar and mix until the sugar dissolves.  Put in freezer.

Stir the mixture after 30 minutes, and then an hour, and then finally leave it in there until completely frozen.

And the last step: scrape the mixture with a fork to create “snow” crystals, and then scoop them into a cup to eat!

Taste: 8/10

My husband LOVED this.  He pretty much loves all frozen fruit items.  I found it a bit too bitter still from the blueberries.20180923_165125

Difficulty: Average

This recipe requires a lot of upper body strength to mash the berries, and then to scrape the ice into crystals.  Otherwise it’s a simple recipe, though.

Cost: Cheap

In all likelihood, you’ll just need to buy the blueberries.  Other ingredients include water and sugar.
