Rum-Glazed Roasted Pineapple
Whoops – forgot one of the Gabrielle recipes before I moved on to Susan!
I was probably more excited than I should have been for this recipe, but let me just list the ingredients for you and you’ll know why: pineapple, brown sugar, butter, and rum.
I mean…c’mon! That’s gotta be good!
And the recipe was easy too. Toss the pineapple with the sugar, butter, and rum. Then cook it in the oven, turning every once in a while, toss with the sugar, butter, and rum again, and enjoy!
Taste: 8/10
I had higher hopes for this recipe, but it was still very good. I kind of wish it had more of a brown sugar taste to it, though. My husband thought it was too sweet, but that didn’t really bother me at all.
Difficulty: Easy
Just throw everything together and cook!
Cost: Cheap / Average
This recipe is really cheap if you already have rum. If not, that will certainly raise the cost on this one. Other ingredients are pineapple, butter, and dark brown sugar.
