Fruit Frenzy

The fruit salad makes an appearance in Chapter 4 of The Hunger Games, where it’s served in the Capitol on a bed of ice to keep it chilled.

And it’s really quite simple to assemble…as long as you have easy access to fruit of course, unlike Katniss.

Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and pineapple are mixed together and then topped with mint leaves.  There’s an option to serve with yogurt, as well, but it wasn’t listed in the ingredients list so I didn’t get any.

Taste: 9/10

Delicious, but really this is just a bowl of sweet fruit.

Difficulty: Easy

You’ll have to chop the strawberries and pineapple, but otherwise the recipe only involves rinsing and mixing.

Cost: Cheap / Average

You’ll need blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and pineapple, with the added option of mint leaves and/or yogurt.
