Bacon & Egg Breakfast Tacos

These were quite simple to make!20200126_081029

The frozen tater tots are cooked first according to package directions, and then seasoned with Lawry’s seasoning salt.  My husband thought all seasoning salts were the same, so he opted to not purchase it even though I put it on our grocery list…sigh.  So I used regular seasoning salt that was slightly different.  I don’t think it made much of a difference, though, to be honest.20200126_081539

This recipe forgot that we need to cook the chopped bacon, so I did that step next even though it’s not listed as a step.

The last item to be cooked is the scrambled eggs.

Finally, the tacos are assembled – scrambled eggs, nacho cheese, tater tots, and bacon all rolled up in a soft shell (more of a burrito, really).

Taste: 9/10

This was really good!  The tater tots and nacho cheese were delicious additions.

Difficulty: Easy

You need to know how to make scrambled eggs already, because the instructions are lacking, but for the most part this is a very simple recipe to prepare.

Cost: Average

You’ll need frozen tater tots, Lawry’s seasoning salt, eggs, soft shell tacos, queso dip or nacho cheese, and bacon.
