Chocolate-Butterscotch Bars

These are not only delicious, but pretty simple to make!

Flour, baking powder and salt are mixed in one bowl, and room-temperature butter, sugar, and brown sugar are mixed well in an electric mixer followed by eggs.

Next, the flour mixture, butterscotch chips, and chocolate chips are folded into the batter with a rubber spatula.

The whole thing is scraped into a well-greased baking dish, and cooked until light brown.  Once cool, cut into squares and enjoy!

Taste: 9/10

Almost a full 10/10, but I felt like they could have been a bit richer.  Maybe switching to dark brown sugar instead of light, or using more brown sugar to replace some of the white sugar would have worked.

Difficulty: Easy

Just mix, pour, and bake!

Cost: Cheap

You’ll need flour, baking powder, salt, butter, sugar, light brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.
