Old-School Buttered Noodles
This was a super easy recipe to pull together, so it makes sense that on Lynette’s tight-schedule this would be a go-to meal.
The noodles are boiled first. The recipe says to boil for 4-5 minutes, but I followed the package directions instead to make sure they were cooked properly (9-11 minutes).

While the noodles boiled, the butter and chopped parsley are put into a bowl.
Once the noodles are done, some of the water they were boiling in is added to the bowl of butter and parsley, and then the rest is drained.

The noodles are then thrown back into the (now dry) pot, the butter/parsley mixture is added, and it’s cooked until the water evaporates and the noodles are glossy. They are then tossed with salt and pepper and served!

Taste: 6/10
This wasn’t bad, but it was sooooo bland and boring. I wouldn’t make it again. I gave it a 6 because it’s definitely edible, just very unexciting. I ended up adding Parmesan cheese which improved the flavor a bit.
Difficulty: Easy
One of the easiest pasta dishes you’ll ever make!
Cost: Cheap
You’ll need egg noodles, parsley (or dill), butter, salt and pepper.
