By Gin and Miskatonic
Miskatonic is a fictional university in Arkham, Massachusetts that appears in several of H. P. Lovecraft’s stories.
To make this drink a glass is filled with ice, gin is added, lime is squeezed in, and the tonic water is mixed in.
The Hpnotiq is supposed to be layered on top, but that didn’t work at all like it did with the Mi-Go Brain Cylinder.
The final step is to place the lime wedges around the rim of the glass in a triskelion, and to put a sprig of rosemary in front of the glass for protection. Note that the rosemary is not used at all in the drink itself, so it’s definitely optional!
Taste: 8/10
The taste was very strong with a sweet taste from the Hpnotiq. I liked it, but it’s not my favorite gin & tonic mix.
Difficulty: Easy or Challenging
I could not get the Hpnotiq to layer on top of the gin & tonic, but if you don’t mind it all blending together than this is very easy.
Cost: Pricey
You’ll need Hendrick’s gin, lime, tonic water, and Hpnotiq liqueur. The rosemary or lemon is optional.
