Homemade Chocolate Truffles

These are pretty easy to make, and absolutely rich and delicious!

The chocolate is melted in a double boiler, and then sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract is added. Once it comes to room temperature, chunks of the mixture are rolled into balls and then frozen.

Meanwhile, the almond bark is melted (both chocolate and vanilla).

Finally, the frozen balls are dropped into the almond bark and sprinkled with sprinkles. Be sure to work quickly, because the almond bark hardens fast!

Taste: 9/10

What’s not to love about melted chocolate and sweetened condensed milk covered in more melted candy/chocolate? It’s extremely rich, so be prepared!

Difficulty: Easy

You’ll need a double boiler, but this is a very easy recipe to put together.

Cost: Pricey

You will need two types of chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, both chocolate and white almond bark, and sprinkles. I had to order the almond bark through amazon, and it wasn’t all that cheap. If you can find almond bark in the stores, though, it might come in smaller amounts.
