It’s Fun to Eat at the Rye-MCA Burger
This burger has caramelized onions in it so…. yeah. It’s good.
I started with the onions, since they take the longest. Basically you’re just cooking them in butter at a low heat for a long period of time.
I shaped and cooked the burgers next.
To be honest, I probably should’ve cooked the onions a bit longer. But I was hungry and the burgers were ready!
Once the burgers are cooked and the cheese is melted on top, we are ready to start assembly! Our lettuce was starting to spoil so I didn’t actually use it, but the recipe does call for it.

OMG this was delicious! The combination of the ingredients together worked perfectly, and I would definitely make this again!
Difficulty: Easy / Average
I’m hesitant to put “easy” on any Bob’s Burger recipe, just because they don’t explain how to actually cook a burger. It’s all about the dressings. So if you’ve never cooked a burger before, this book won’t help.
But as far as recipes in this book as a whole, this is a simple one. Just be careful not to overcook the onions.
Cost: Average
You’ll need ground beef, onion, butter, cheddar cheese, rye bread, lettuce, horseradish, and brown mustard.
There is an option to replace the horseradish with avocado, which would be more accurate to the show. But the horseradish is delicious with this burger!
Suggestion:
When cooking the onions, I’d recommend using your smaller stove burner to get better control of the cooking temperature.
