Alex’s Fresh Fruit Salad with Lime-Ginger Syrup
I don’t think this recipe is actually in the show, but it makes sense that this is something Alex would eat… something both healthy and tasty!
For the lime-ginger syrup, lime juice, orange juice, water, sugar, honey, and ginger are all combined in a saucepan and boiled until reduced. Once it’s cool, lime and orange zest are mixed in.
Meanwhile, the fruit are chopped and combined in a large bowl.
The syrup and fruit are mixed together and refrigerated for at least 1 hour before serving (I refrigerated overnight).
This was very sweet and tasty. The lime-ginger syrup is delicious!
This was not difficult at all. The hardest part is waiting for it to be ready to eat!
You’ll need lime, orange juice, sugar, honey, ground ginger, an orange, pineapple, mango, blueberries, and kiwi.
